From aerial re-seeding and cover crop establishment through in crop spraying and plant health analysis to post harvest drainage prescriptions. We cover all your drone service needs with precision, professionalism, and a commitment to maximizing your farm's potential.
π§
Crop Spraying
Fungicide and insecticide application. Cover your acres with higher precision.
π±
Precision Seeding
Cover crop and re-seeding. Ideal for re-seeding patchy fields, wetland margins, and cover crop establishment with no damage to existing crops.
πΊοΈ
Multispectral Mapping
NDVI, NDRE, and crop health mapping. Generate prescription maps for variable-rate application and early stress detection.
π
Field Scouting & Surveys
Aerial reconnaissance for stand counts, weed pressure mapping, drainage assessment, and post-storm damage documentation β data delivered in actionable formats.
The Hardware
Our Fleet
We fly two purpose-built DJI platforms β one engineered for high-volume field work,
one for precision data collection.

Compliance & Regulations
Operating by the Rules
Ag Drones Manitoba operates in full compliance with Transport Canada RPAS regulations
and Health Canada's Pest Control Products Act. We monitor regulatory developments
closely so you don't have to.
Transport Canada Certification
All our pilots hold Transport Canada Advanced Operations certificates and our
aircraft are registered under the Canadian Aviation Regulations. We carry full
commercial liability insurance for aerial application operations.
Pesticide Licensing
All spraying operators hold Manitoba Pesticide Applicator licenses under
the Pesticides and Fertilizers Control Act. We apply only products authorized
for aerial or RPAS use as defined on the registered label and under current
Health Canada guidance.
Health Canada PRO2026-01
Health Canada's PMRA published Regulatory Proposal PRO2026-01 in February 2026.
This proposal would allow drones to apply any pesticide already registered for
conventional aerial application β a significant expansion from the current
framework where very few labels explicitly authorize RPAS use. The public
consultation period closed March 25, 2026, and PMRA is now reviewing feedback.
We will update our operations as soon as a final policy is issued.
Regulatory Proposal PRO2026-01 was published February 23, 2026. It proposes
allowing RPAS application of all pest control products currently registered
for aerial use β without requiring label amendments β provided operators
follow existing aerial-application label directions.
The 30-day public comment period closed March 25, 2026. PMRA is now
reviewing stakeholder feedback. No final decision has been issued yet.
In the mean time Canadian Agricultural Drone Association has release a Letter of No Objection which is essentially a provisional approval of PRO2026-01 until the official ruling is released.
Advanced Operations rules require pilots to fly only within Visual Line
of Sight (VLOS), maintain required separation distances from people and
bystanders, and hold a valid Advanced pilot certificate.
